Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Professional Membership: Nova Scotia Association of Osteopaths
Angela graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in London in 2008, and then worked in busy osteopathic practices in Yorkshire, England, and in Barbados, before moving to Halifax, Canada, in 2015. Before training as an osteopath she completed a degree in Physiology which gave her a good understanding of human form and function. This background has been very useful in her practice of osteopathic manual therapy where her treatments are aimed at restoring the body’s structural and functional balance, improving efficiency and, ultimately, our health and wellbeing.
Angela enjoys the holistic and patient-centred approach that osteopathic manual therapy takes to treating a wide variety of conditions. With a strong interest and commitment to widening the scope of her knowledge and skills, she has continued her professional development by taking a variety of post-graduate courses, including further training in advanced osteopathic manipulation, cranial-sacral therapy and visceral manipulation.
In her spare time, Angela enjoys yoga and has always had a love for the water. She loves swimming and discovered a passion for surfing during her time in Barbados.
