Ellie Scott is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy with Honors and was the recipient of the "Life Long Learner" award. She is very passionate about understanding how the body functions in all aspects. Prior to massage therapy she completed her BSc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with Honors from Dalhousie University.
Ellie is currently finishing her first year of education in Osteopathy Manual Practice with the Collège D’Études Ostéopathiques.
Ellie attempts to look at the patient as a whole when treating dysfunctions of the body. Her goal is to free the body from restrictions and help work with the patient toward a more balanced state both posturally and neuro-muscularly. Ellie is capable of gentle hands on work in the case of acute injuries as well as deep tissue massage therapy and myofascial techniques to deal with
painful trigger points or areas of muscle and fascial tightness.
