Ken has finished the five year Canadian College of Osteopathy program and is currently working on his thesis; “The Osteopathic relationship between postural abnormalities and the central chain”. Ken is also completing his Masters of Health Promotion from Dalhousie University.  He graduated from Dalhousie University in 1998 with a science degree in Physiotherapy and integrates an osteopathic and physiotherapy approach with his treatments. Ken has also used acupuncture for over ten years and incorporates acupuncture when indicated; he was trained at the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. Ken will treat all types of dysfunction from a recent injury to chronic pain. He enjoys spending time with his family and learning about individual and public health.

Tia earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University's School of Physiotherapy. She has continued her professional study with the orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and completed a Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. She believes in the importance of patient education. Her treatment focuses on restoring optimal function though the use of exercises and muscular rehabilitation at times augmented by the use of manual techniques or modalities. Her area of interest is in athletic injuries.

Julie is a UK trained, registered & qualified Osteopathic therapist, with further qualifications in Naturopathic medicine.

Julie completed 4 years of full time Osteopathic training at the British College of Osteopathy. She has also completed a degree in Biology and Psychology at Northampton University (U.K). Julie also has post graduate training in cranial therapy and dry needling.  

Julie believes that when treating the individual you must endeavour to look beyond the structural and take time to listen to the patient and their pain. Throughout her treatment she places great importance on many naturopathic and holistic modalities including hydrotherapy, visceral osteopathy, nutrition/dietetics, lifestyle management and exercise prescription. As a result of her previous degree and research she also has a personal interest in the psychological aspects such as stress, which can initiate and maintain pain.

Francesca Ambrocichuk, BHSc, MScPT

Francesca received her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2004 and has since acquired post graduate training in pilates, manual therapy, acupuncture, myofascial release and exercise prescription for muscle imbalance and dysfunction. She also has completed Part A and Part B of the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.

Francesca has a patient centered and evidence-based approach to treating her clients. She is passionate about patient education and self-management to support enduring health and vitality. She offers manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, acupuncture and modalities as each individual situation necessitates. Laura Newton, BFA, RMT

As a graduate of the renowned Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto, Laura has helped clients from many different backgrounds including athletes, dancers, pregnant women, seniors, and your everyday workaholic. Helping people achieve their goals is her passion.
As a dance artist and teacher, she discovered massage therapy though her interest in keeping herself and her students injury-free and healthy. She found that massage was an excellent way to recover from injury while encouraging proper body mechanics and posture, thereby preventing further problems. She believes the most important concept in health care is facilitating a strong mind-body connection, empowering people to get involved in their own health.

Trained in Swedish aka Therapeutic Massage, she uses techniques such as myofascial release, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, active release and joint mobilizations to correct soft-tissue imbalances and release tension.

Judith Forget, RMT

Judith graduated with honors from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2007. Since then, she has focused her practice in multidisciplinary health care clinics. Judith’s goal is to empower her clients to improve their health and quality of life. She will create a personalized treatment plan that will take in consideration her clients’ individual goals, health history and lifestyle. Judith has a whole body approach to treatment and wishes to address the root of the problem instead of focusing solely on the symptoms.
Judith constantly strives to better herself as a therapist, and has attended many post-graduate courses to improve her clinical skills. She is currently in her first year of osteopathic studies at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Her treatment approach draws on many different techniques to achieve the best results. She enables her clients to take control of their own health thru education and appropriate home care.
Judith enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions and has a special interest in chronic pain and sports injuries. She is looking forward to working as part of your health care team to help you achieve your own unique goals.
