Restorative yoga therapy is a practice of mindful body mechanics combined with conscious breathing cultivated through yoga poses that are designed to reduce tension and stress on the body.
Yoga therapist and osteopathic manual practitioner Martha Faron teaches in her three hour workshop the fundamentals of lower back pain and how restorative yoga can promote greater spinal and muscle core stability, mobility and strength. It is designed to help you integrate specific yoga poses and mindful relaxation and meditative techniques into a healthy back self-care routine for home practice.
Martha Faron is a British Trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a certified yoga instructor with an extensive background in teaching anatomy and physiology to yoga teachers in training in both the U.S. and the U.K. She is also a former chronic back pain suffer!
